We ate very tasty there on the terrace with a partial lake view, the service was very friendly and the food quickly at the table.

Eaten delicious chanterelle pan. The apperol was good. What more do you want.

Friendly and uncomplicated service. The interior has remained a bit over time, but you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Hopfensee. The biggest point of criticism was the food and the price / performance ratio. It was absolutely average food and quite tough (veal escalope). The fries were over-seasoned and a bit artificial, too bad! We may have been spoiled by other restaurants in the area.

I went to eat there twice on my vacation (2020). Positive: The food is really delicious there! Furthermore, the location is wonderful, although of course this depends on the seat! Negative: Unfortunately, the portions are relatively meager in both cases. The second time I made a reservation by phone in advance, although I was not informed that there was a big party in the hall (the room next to the restaurant). The extremely loud and constant sound system unfortunately ensured that there was no nice atmosphere during the meal. Conclusion: I would advise when making reservations to ask whether an event is taking place in the hall at the same time.

The location is nice and the staff very friendly, but to be honest, we were very disappointed. The food tasted below average for the price. I had several types of meat, all of which were fried as tough as the sole of a shoe. There was salt and pepper in little paper bags like in a fast food restaurant. The fact that a whole bus of tourists was suddenly dumped for dinner didn't necessarily make things any better. Too bad.

Very tasty food, I had game. I had to try the liver dumpling soup immediately and it tastes good. The restaurant was very busy, so I unfortunately had to wait a long time for my second drink.

Food consistently okay! Nothing above average but good, down to earth! Staff friendly but not always up to date - after the main course nobody came. So we then unfortunately did without dessert. Prices fair, nice terrace!

Clear, but very nice menu card, also suitable for small hunger and for children. Food is highly recommended and delicious. Waiter quick and friendly, everything looks very professional and well-rehearsed.

Wonderful place with very good, regional dishes. The food is delicious, the ingredients come from the region. In contrast to most restaurants, which are located directly on the lake promenade, Allgäu cuisine is offered here. Something for tourists to try. So you should not shy away from the way to the restaurant, which is located above the lake. You will be rewarded with good food, great beer, a fantastic view of Hopfensee and the mountains and wonderful service from the staff.

Food good, but not necessarily cheap. But great view and good service. We sat on the terrace and were able to switch to the restaurant interiors without any problems if there was a sudden thunderstorm.

Pretty standard food, nothing exceptional. Couldn’t finish the rumpsteak, it was too hard. The service was also slow

We were there for cake and coffee today and it took 15 minutes before we were waited on. There were 7 other guests that waited that long also. The coffee and cake were good but then we had to wait again before any one came so we could pay.

Went there dinner tonight. Everything was delicious and the view is uppergenial. Service was very friendly, everything went very fast and tasted so good that we reserved a table for tomorrow. Can you recommend it.

Amazing, local and fresh food!!! Fabulous service, very attentive and efficient. Great value for money. We will be back for sure. We would highly recommend it.

Very very good lovely

The restaurant is well worth a visit, the quality of the food is okay. The trigger for me to rate it with five stars was the really warm friendliness of the service staff. We felt really welcome and in good hands here. The food was also served very quickly, which is not decisive for me but should be mentioned. We'd love to come back when we're around. Thank you!
